Your First Login

1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
2. Go to your school's library website. It usually looks like https://your-school.schoolaide-library.com.
3. Type your email address and password.
4. Click Log In.
5. If your school uses extra security (two-factor authentication), you will see a screen asking for a 6-digit code. Open your authenticator app (like Google Authenticator) and type the code shown there.
6. If this is your very first time logging in, you may see a setup screen. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your setup.

What you'll see: After logging in, you will land on your dashboard. The dashboard looks different depending on your role (librarian, teacher, student, or school admin).

If something goes wrong:

• "Invalid credentials" -- Double-check your email and password. Make sure you are on the correct school's website.
• Account locked -- If you entered the wrong password too many times, your account gets locked for safety. Wait a few minutes and try again, or ask your school admin to unlock your account.
• Need a code but don't have the app -- If you lost access to your authenticator app, use one of your recovery codes. If you don't have those either, contact your school admin.
